Accessibility monitoring for whole websites
Updated
Websites change every week. A new banner, a CMS update or a marketing page can add accessibility issues you never meant to ship. Perceivly checks your whole site on a schedule and keeps track of every issue until it is fixed.
How it works
- Add your site. Choose how often to check it and how many pages to include.
- Perceivly reads your sitemap and follows links, respecting robots.txt and your include and exclude rules.
- Each page is opened in a real browser and tested against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2, levels A and AA.
- Issues are grouped by rule across the site, with the failing elements, screenshots and how to fix them.
What you get
- A score and its trend for every check, so you can see progress over time.
- Issue tracking that notices on its own when an issue is fixed, and reopens it if it comes back.
- Statuses with reasons: open, in progress, fixed, or won’t fix with a recorded reason.
- Alerts by email when a check finds a new critical issue.
- History of every change: who changed what, when and why.
What it can’t do
Automated tests find only part of accessibility issues. Monitoring keeps the detectable ones in check, so your manual reviews can focus on what needs a person: keyboard use, meaningful alt text, captions and reading order.
