About Perceivly
Updated
Perceivly helps web agencies and businesses find accessibility issues on their websites, fix them in the code, and keep a record that shows the work was done.
Why we built it
From June 2025, the European Accessibility Act requires many businesses that sell online in the EU to make their websites accessible. In the US, website accessibility lawsuits under the ADA run into the thousands each year. The teams who have to do the work, often small agencies looking after dozens of client sites, need a clear view of what is wrong, how to fix it, and proof that they are on it.
What we believe
- No overlays. Widgets that try to patch a site in the browser don’t fix the underlying code and can get in the way of the assistive technology people already use. Perceivly never changes your site.
- Honest results. Automated tests catch only part of accessibility issues. Every result we show says what still needs a person to check. We never claim a scan makes a site compliant.
- Plain language. Every issue says what is wrong, where it is, and how to fix it, in words a busy developer or content editor can act on.
- Practice what we preach. Our own site is tested against WCAG 2.2 AA on every change. Read our accessibility statement.
What’s next
The free checker is the first step. Next come scheduled monitoring of whole sites, reports mapped to WCAG, the EAA and the ADA, and white-label reports for agencies. Follow along on our changelog.
