Issue statuses and history
Updated
Each issue is one failing WCAG rule across your site. After every check:
- A rule that newly fails opens an issue.
- An open or in-progress issue the check no longer finds is marked fixed.
- A fixed issue that comes back is reopened.
- An issue marked won’t fix stays that way; its counts keep updating.
You can change a status on the issue’s page. Won’t fix needs a reason, so the decision is on record. Every change appears in the issue’s history with who made it and when.
Note: if a page with an issue isn’t reached in a check (for example because of the page limit), the issue may be marked fixed. Raise the page limit or add the page to your include rules.
