How Perceivly crawls and checks your site
Updated
- We read your sitemap (from robots.txt, or
/sitemap.xml) and follow links on the pages we check, staying on your domain. - We respect robots.txt rules for
PerceivlyBot. Pages it disallows are not checked. - We load at most two new pages a second, so checks don’t strain your server.
- Files such as PDFs and images aren’t checked as pages.
- Each page opens in a real browser and is tested against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2, levels A and AA.
If your site blocks automated browsers (some bot protection does), allow the user agent containing PerceivlyBot.
